Up and Down over the years
With the years I changed the diets. I tried each and everyone I heard of: Atkins, Grapefruit, Ananas - you name it, I tried it at least once. And with each one I lost some weight and a few months later, I was already looking for the next diet. For some years this was my life: gaining weight - going on a diet - gaining weight - going on the next diet.. I think you get the drift.
Unfortunately, the Weight Loss got harder and harder with the years. Consequently the diets had to take longer and I had to be hungry for a longer time. Being hungry still made me cranky and so I spent about 6 months of the year in a foul mood, because I was on a diet.
Well, after some years like this, I have had enough. Being hungry and cranky for most of the time was not the way I intended to spend the rest of my life. Something had to change - urgently.
Researching Weight Loss and Dieting
I was convinced that there must be a possibility to lose weight permanently. So I started to inform myself about diets, diet pills, Weight loss, diet supplements and diet products. I read everything I could find in magazines, books and on the Internet.
Quite soon I was certain, that I did not want to use any chemicals for my Weight Loss. All the artificial diet pills and diet supplements had one thing in common: all had some side effects. And anyway, I had no intentions to fill my body with chemicals, just for the sake of Weight Loss. I wanted to lose weight, because it would make my life healthier. Swallowing chemicals would be somehow counter productive.

I knew from experience that I would lose weight, but during the whole diet I would be in the "Foul-Mood-Mode" and after the diet I would not have the self-discipline, to keep my weight at the low level, because I love my food too much. No matter which diet I found, all were heavily counting on my will power. Well, I was not!
